I'm a terrible blogger!!
OK so up front...if you want updates on our trip, you have to check Alan's blog. I'm not internet dedicated enough to update. He's got it all...pictures, interesting anecdotes, humor? I have no idea actually, I haven't read them myself :-)What I can tell you is that CA and southern AZ have the grossest bathrooms at their gas stations. Northern AZ much better bathrooms. Counting down hours not days...
It's getting close. I'm tired and sitting in a hotel room on the back end of Stanford's campus with virtually no cell phone service. The truck bed and cab is full of my stuff. I'm driving around town with a good chunk of my possessions in my car. Only a few more days....

Here's the abbreviated version: I was born and raised in Northwest Ohio. After high school, I went to college at Eastern Michigan. After college, I moved back to Ohio for a job. I then packed up and drove across the country to Fresno, California where I enjoyed warmer weather in the winter and hot summers. Then I moved to LA to attend grad school and be with my wonderful boyfriend. Now I'm engaged and living in Chicago working for the VA.
