Honestly and for the love...
In response to the latest Catholic church statement of..."homosexuals should be barred from entering the priesthood along with men with "deep-seated" homosexual tendencies and those who support gay culture. Homosexual tendencies must be clearly overcome at least three years before admission to the deaconate, a position a step short of priesthood, it said. Decisions on how to put this into practice rest in part with local Bishops..."
Are you kidding me? I love that the Bishops can supposedly help a gay man become straight or asexual. Because that makes a whole hell of a lot of sense. If women can't make gay men straight, how is another man going to do it? I'm sure that in some ways the Catholic church has been treated unfairly in regards to the number of scandals. There are probably just as many non-Catholic leaders commiting the same abuse within their parishes. But the cover up is ridiculous. Then just ignoring the real problem by using gay men as a scape goat is pretty ridiculous. The whole church is ridiculous. I'm really just sick of the whole thing. I think at Christmas I'm going to church with Bryan and Sarah, or just stay home all together.
