Amanda Day

The census has been low at work lately. So, today I decided to take a much needed day to myself. I keep thinking about taking a day off to run errands and relax, but never do. Today was that day, and it was awesome. I could totally do the unemployed deal, as long as some sugar daddy or trust fund was paying the bills. Not looking forward to work tomorrow. Today was nice.

In case you can't tell, this is a painting of a waterfall with a marsh to the right & a bridge to the left. In front of the marsh,is an exact replica of the truck that bears this hideous tailgate (flames & all). The best part, the truck image is facing a vision of the virgin Mary.

I got a bike!

Just a little note on life

Not much new to report. Alan came to town last Wednesday night for a 4 day weekend. Thursday night we had a 'date' and went to see Pirates of the Carribean 2. It was ok. I recommend renting it. Too much gore and not enough plot to make the 2 1/2 hour movie worth it. Friday night we went to see Bryan's new band, All Good Things. Saturday we went to a swimming hole near Fish Camp. It was awesome. Saturday night was the last Chris Plays Guitar show ever. It was probably the most appropriate ending to the band and us as 'bandwives.' Sunday was recovering from Saturday night and Ipod shopping. Colleen started working with Sarah and I on Monday. She's doing pretty well. There's a lot of things to learn. Still getting used to seeing her there. It's good though. PP got a bath last night. I have less battle scars than last time. PP smells better too. Only 2 more days until the weekend and another trek to LA. The heat's finally broke, so the weather is tolerable again.
