Happy Memorial Day!!

Hope everyone had a safe and fun Memorial Day. Sarah, Bryan, Colleen, Alan and I went camping with the White family and friends this weekend. It was one cold weekend let me tell you. Friday night Alan and I froze in the tent despite being zipped together in the sleeping bags for warmth. On Saturday we anticipated rain, however, it started with snow then turned to hail. It hailed on and off all day. By early evening it had changed to rain. It eventually stopped and turned into a clear sky but so cold. There wasn't a whole lot of movement from the campfire all day and night Saturday. We slept better since all of us got extra sleeping gear from Ernie and Jeff. Sunday was a much more beautiful day. It was much warmer. The 5 of us went hiking. It was a blast. Jeff and Kenny went swimming in the ice cold river. Those crazy katz. Sunday night was songs by the campfire. Our group slept late on Sunday. We packed up after/during breakfast and were headed out by noon. Stopped at a look out on our way down. After a good scrubbing, we ate leftovers at the Zera's. Alan's mom, brother, and dog joined us. It was a good relaxing end to the weekend. Alan is on his way home now, and I will probably go to work soon. Good times!
